Music and movement-based activities for care home residents in Bristol and surrounding areas including those with dementia

Dementia-friendly singing and movement sessions that are all about sharing memories.

Lets breathe together, sing together and laugh together too!

If you’d like to book a friendly, fun and inclusive group singing session for your care home please get in touch.

Further details of the services I offer are here.

I work with all age groups, from tiny tots to centenarians, in settings from care homes to community clubs to charities, and particularly enjoy storytelling and sharing memories through song.

While singing is the focus of each session I also incorporate safe and effective movement, as exercise is hugely important to the physical and mental wellbeing of people.  This is a unique selling point of mine as I fuse both elements together. Singing helps our breathing and improves memory, and movement encourages social interaction, reduces falls and improves circulation and cardiovascular health.

What people say about me …

We always have fun with Sing with Rosie, and this week was no exception! We got the band back together and sang our hearts out. It’s always a good laugh when Sing with Rosie comes to see us. Music, singing and laughter filled the lounge during our session and the residents had a ball.

Here at Malvern View our lovely residents always look forward to our musical entertainment, whenever we get a visit from a singer to the home. Yesterday afternoon was no exception and we all enjoyed Sing with Rosie. Lots of favourites that we could all sing along too. Rosie gave us a great show and we can’t wait to see her back at the home soon. We encourage all our residents to take part in singing – great exercise for the lungs and the memories!
